Steve S. Park, M.D., Interventional Cardiologist
Dr. Park is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease. He completed his medical school education at University of Minnesota Medical School, internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University/Evanston Hospital, and fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. He has served as an Interventional Cardiology Fellow and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Park also served as a member of the teaching staff at White Memorial Heart Institute, where he received the Teacher of the Year award by the Department of Family Medicine. In 1995, Dr. Park began his private practice in interventional cardiology in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Over the course of 30 years, he has seen over 20,000 patients and has handled over 5,000 coronary angioplasty patients.
Dr. Park’s published research manuscripts include: Use of Dipyridamole in assessing the presence and severity of myocardial ischemia, a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled assessment of Soulutroban in prevention of restenosis following coronary angioplasty; Total ischemia awareness program; Acute M.I. Study: Eminase vs. TPA.
